SLS (Selective Laser Sintering) was introduced in 1993. In 1994, Harald Henkel and Jürgen Blöcher founded FKM Sintertechnik GmbH.
Based on their extensive experience in model design and construction and in foundry technology, they were able to fully realise the enormous potential of this novel technology.
Within just a few years, SLS developed from rapid prototyping to e-manufacturing – a real quantum leap in development.
Today, FKM is the European company with the most experience and the largest production capacity in its field.
